The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quim connects with a good right hand that stumbles Engels. Engels circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Engels gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Quim counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Quim trying to control the position from guard on top but Engels is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Quim stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Engels throws a body kick the misses

and Quim counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Engels!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Engels tries to reverse the position but Quim maintains control.
BOOM! Quim connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Quim is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Engels can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Quim postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Engels looks a forlorn figure.

Engels is desperately trying to improve his position but Quim has a good base and remains in mount.
