Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boby Lee!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamz keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hamz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A left lands for Hamz.
Hamz throws a push kick but Lee slaps the foot to one side.
Hamz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
Lee misses with a straight right.
Sloppy strikes from Hamz. Those never looked like landing.
Hamz cracks the inside of Lee's front leg.
Hamz closes the distance but Lee moves to the side
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
Lee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Lee counters with a single leg into guard. Hamz didn't expect that.
Hamz is looking to stand up but Lee isn't so interested in that idea.
Hamz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hamz throws a front kick aimed at Lee's knee but Lee avoids it well.

Hamz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lee at a distance.
Lee connects with a right hand. Hamz shakes it off.

Lee moves out of range of the leg kick from Hamz.

Lee throws the left hand but Hamz avoids the punch easily.

Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Lee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hamz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hamz misses with a looping left.

and Lee counters with a straight right hand.
Hamz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hamz misses with a straight left.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boby Lee dominated that round.

Fresh Hamz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hamz throws out a leg kick but Lee moves out of range and Hamz only half commits.
Lee might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Fresh Hamz is winning the standup battle so far.
Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hamz.
Fresh Hamz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Lee counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lee keeps the fight on the outside.
Lee tries to move into range but Hamz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd cheers as Hamz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lee doesn't seem phased though.

Hamz lands a nice hook to Lee's body. Lee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hamz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Hamz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lee's hands.

and Lee counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lee.
Lee is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hamz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Hamz tries to throw a body punch but Lee avoids it by throwing Hamz back against the cage.

A shot in the inside from Hamz.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Lee.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hamz can pounce on him.
Lee avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Hamz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

and Lee counters with a two punch combo.
Hamz throws a leg kick but Lee checks it.
Hamz throws a looping overhand right but Lee ducks down to avoid it.

and Lee counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Lee shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hamz looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fresh Hamz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

I would just about give that final round to Boby Lee.
I think Lee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
