PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between paul nuno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shibukawa Gouki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think nuno might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to in regards to myself. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gouki avoids the body shot from nuno.
nuno misses with the combination.
nuno throws a sloppy head kick and Gouki moves out of range easily.
nuno throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
nuno is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
nuno shoots for a takedown but Gouki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horrible takedown by nuno or perhaps it was just good defense by Gouki which made him look bad.
nuno could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
nuno throws a nice looking combination but Gouki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
nuno shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gouki as he avoids it easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
nuno tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gouki swivels and escapes.

Gouki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gouki is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but nuno won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Gouki off his unconscious opponent!
