The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paakku wants to clinch.
Garcia has his takedown stuffed
and Paakku makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Paakku throws a leg kick but Garcia moved away.
Paakku doesn't manage to clinch there - Garcia circles away.

Paakku tries to sprawl but Garcia drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paakku tries to kick Garcia off but Garcia keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Garcia works his foot free and advances to mount.

Garcia is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Paakku to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Paakku shrugs it off.
Paakku wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Paakku really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garcia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Garcia is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Paakku is surviving well by controlling Garcia's body position as best he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paakku tries to buck Garcia off but he can't manage it.

Garcia with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Paakku wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Paakku has left one of his arms exposed and Garcia doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Paakku screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
