Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Killer Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armando Ramon Gacrilazo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Killer Boom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Armando Ramon Gacrilazo!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramon Gacrilazo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ramon Gacrilazo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Boom regains half guard.
Boom manages to get to full guard.
Boom bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ramon Gacrilazo's guard.

Boom got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ramon Gacrilazo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boom has managed to get both his arms back between Ramon Gacrilazo's legs - danger averted.
Boom advances position into side control!
Ramon Gacrilazo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Boom wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Boom just content to control the position.
Boom has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Ramon Gacrilazo is trying to control Boom's posture but Boom avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boom wants to control but Ramon Gacrilazo is having none of it.

Ramon Gacrilazo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Boom moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Ramon Gacrilazo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boom is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ramon Gacrilazo, into his guard.

Ramon Gacrilazo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Boom is trying to maintain the position but Ramon Gacrilazo is very close to passing his half guard.
Ramon Gacrilazo wants to advance to full mount but Boom doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

The referee asks Boom politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Boom prefers to stall for the moment though.
Killer Boom overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Boom is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ramon Gacrilazo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Killer Boom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
