Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berg's entrance music is Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger. A fine choice. Severn has chosen Ja volim vatat muve as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Severn!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Severn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Berg can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alexander Berg will probably get the nod.

Berg stalks Severn and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Severn's face. Severn staggers backwards, shaken.

Severn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Berg is refusing to be controlled, as Severn sits in half guard.

Severn is working for a kimura but Berg is defending it quite comfortably.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexander Berg.
I think Berg has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
