Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanley Stuus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by Science vs. Romance. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Parker defends it nicely.
Stanley Stuus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stuus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stuus is looking to land body kicks.
An inside leg kick from Stuus misses.
Stuus swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Parker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Stuus fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Parker is out of range.
Stuus connects with a solid leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Parker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stuus.

Stuus shoots for a takedown but Parker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Stuus counters with a thumping low kick.

Stuus lands a jab to Parker's midsection.

Parker forces Stuus back against the cage and clinches.
Stuus lands an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Parker scores with a nice short uppercut.
Parker misses with a short punch on the inside.
Parker managing to block the knees to the body from Stuus.
Parker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Stuus lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Jesse Parker has been cut.
Stuus lands an elbow inside that Parker shrugs off.
Parker tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Stuus's elbow.
Stuus doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Parker avoids a wild elbow strike from Stuus.

Stuus gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Parker regains guard.
Stuus postures up in Parker's guard and throws a big left but Parker blocks it.
Stuus in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Parker wants to improve his position but instead Stuus has moved into half guard.
Parker is not content to let Stuus control the position.
Stuus works his way into full mount!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stuus lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Stuus is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Parker has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
BOOM! Stuus connects with a massive shot to the dome!

A big strike lands for Stuus! That's really hurt Parker and he's turned his back - Stuus keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Stuus jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
