The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Donovan.

It looks like Jason Donovan has been cut.

Green is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Donovan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Green .
Green tries to stand but can't do so whilst Donovan controls his leg.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Green wants to get back to his feet.
Donovan is trying to maintain the position but Green is very close to passing his half guard.
Donovan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Donovan.

Donovan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Donovan is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Green rolls with it to try and escape but Donovan cranks on the arm and Green is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
