Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tubby Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Y'all must've forgot kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Turk misses with a combination
and Hayes counters with a left to the body.
Turk avoids the head kick by Hayes.
Turk wants to clinch up but Hayes keeps it at a distance.
Hayes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Turk throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Tubby Hayes has been cut.

Hayes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That kick from Hayes tenderised Turk's leg. Turk is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Hayes counters with an outside leg kick.

Turk gets caught napping as Hayes dives in and scores a takedown. Turk manages to retain guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turk is staying active underneath Hayes, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hayes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hayes seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hayes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Turk with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hayes goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Turk turns into him and now he's in Hayes's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Turk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hayes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hayes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turk swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hayes stands and throws Turk's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Well Hayes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
