PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caramel King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rigan Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Machado moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
King closes the distance but Machado moves to the side

and Machado counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in King's guard now.
Machado slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Machado stands and throws King's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Machado lands a decent elbow from side control.
Machado looks up at the clock and then as King takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Machado smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
King is letting Machado control him for a moment.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King can't do much from the bottom here.
Machado is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Machado cracks King with a big right hand but King just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King is working to avoid the ground and pound but Machado connects with a decent elbow.
King takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Machado in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... King is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
