Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Revan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Mauler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mauler's choice of entrance music: WAR then PEACE. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Donk. Gracie catches Mauler right on the button with a cross.
Mauler has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mauler there as he acknowledges the shot.
A left lands for Gracie.
A swing and a miss from Gracie.
Gracie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gracie is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Gracie scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Mauler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Mauler shoots in and bounces Gracie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Gracie trying to keep a closed guard but Mauler is proving a slippery customer.
Mauler trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet.
Mauler is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Mauler shoots in and gets a takedown into Gracie's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mauler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mauler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gracie is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Mauler frees his head nicely. Oh but Gracie has switched to an armbar! Mauler is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
