Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pepe LePew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pepe LePew has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and LePew counters with a single leg into guard. Perry didn't expect that.
LePew not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

LePew got a little sloppy there for a moment and Perry has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, LePew has managed to get both his arms back between Perry's legs - danger averted.
LePew pushes down on Perry's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Perry trying to hold on to LePew's head to control him but LePew postures up.
LePew uses his free foot to push down on Perry's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Perry.
Perry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with LePew. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

LePew is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Perry has managed to escape the submission attempt.
LePew is landing with some decent strikes but Perry is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Perry wants to try and get back to his feet.
LePew with a couple of short strikes.
Perry looks gassed!
Perry has given up his back here. Will LePew look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Perry is trying to defend against the choke here but LePew has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. LePew Tightens the hold and Perry taps out furiously! LePew displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
