The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews wants to clinch.
Tribbiani lands a right hook to the body.
Tribbiani throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Matthews counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Matthews.
Matthews swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Tribbiani breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tribbiani chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Matthews walks into a left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tribbiani misses with a body kick.

Tribbiani feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Matthews sprawling to the canvas! Matthews rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tribbiani finish him?!

Matthews is rocked!
Tribbiani cracks Matthews's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Matthews slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Tribbiani can do further damage! This one is done, son!
