The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Vegard Ellefsen has been cut.
Ellefsen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Ellefsen stopping the sweep attempt from Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Ellefsen counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Ellefsen stops Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa from getting back to his feet.

Ellefsen stands up and beckons Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa to join him on the feet.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ellefsen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa won't be happy with that.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa is trying to escape the position but Ellefsen is controlling the position.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa tries to improve position but can't.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ellefsen is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
