Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kanbei Shimada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shimada comes to the cage accompanied by Party and Bullshit. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartman throws the left hand but Shimada avoids the punch easily.
Kanbei Shimada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shimada swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cartman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Shimada misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Cartman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Cartman gets a takedown into half guard.
Shimada wants to control but Cartman is keeping busy.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cartman connects with a nice short shot to Shimada's temple.

Cartman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cartman lands a nice short elbow.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cartman is looking to advance position but Shimada won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cartman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Cartman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shimada's head.
Cartman wants to pass to mount but Shimada is defending the position.
Cartman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Shimada has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cartman is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Shimada is looking for a sweep. Cartman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Cartman wants to pass the guard but Shimada is defending well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
