The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamato cracks Alcano with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Yamato has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Alcano to stand back up!
Alcano is rocked!
Yamato looks to clinch
and Alcano holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Oh Alcano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yamato looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Alcano breaks the clinch.
Yamato throws a big shot that misses.
Alcano seems to have got his legs back now.
Yamato swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Alcano counters by moving into the clinch.

Alcano keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Yamato throws a poor cross that misses
and Alcano counters with a left and a right that stings Yamato.

and Alcano counters with a two punch combo.
Yamato throws a lazy uppercut
and Alcano counters with a lovely shot to the body.
An inside leg kick lands from Alcano.
A jab lands there for Yamato.
Yamato closes the distance but Alcano moves to the side
and Alcano counters with a big head kick but Yamato shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yamato misses with a double jab
and Alcano counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Yamato looks gassed!
Yamato misses with a right hand
and Alcano connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Alcano tests Yamato's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Alcano. That's going to slow Yamato down.
Yamato tries to keep at a distance but Alcano has taken the fight into the clinch.
Alcano manages to break the clinch.
Alcano cracks a nice hook into Yamato's ribs.
Yamato tries to move into range but Alcano moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Alcano scores with a nice strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alcano lands a jab to Yamato's midsection.
Alcano lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Alcano is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Alcano lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Alcano lands with a thumping leg kick.
Alcano is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Yamato walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Alcano lands a right hook to the body.
Alcano cracks Yamato with an open hand slap.

Are you kidding me?! Alcano ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Yamato clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
