The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schulze misses with a double jab.
Schulze misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Schulze.
Schulze avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones misses with a double jab.
Schulze throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Schulze swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Schulze looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Schulze persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.

Schulze feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Schulze changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Schulze throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Schulze is breathing heavily.

Schulze drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jones wants to sweep here but Schulze controlling him for the moment.
Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Schulze passes Jones's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Schulze is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Schulze.
