Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith wants to clinch.
Smith fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Arishev sprawls well initially but Smith persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Arishev is looking to improve his position.
Arishev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Smith takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Smith seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Smith is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Arishev rolls with it to try and escape but Smith cranks on the arm and Arishev is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
