Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cory McDanver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Gilden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Gilden!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilden tries for a takedown but McDanver circles away easily

so McDanver counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
McDanver looking to pass the guard.
McDanver is working hard here to advance position.

Gilden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McDanver doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McDanver manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
McDanver wants to pass the guard but Gilden is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McDanver accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gilden is looking for a triangle but McDanver pushes his legs off easily.
McDanver slips nicely into half guard.
Gilden manages to get to full guard.

Gilden has his foot on McDanver's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McDanver works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

BOOM! McDanver connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The referee warns Gilden that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Gilden is rocked!
Gilden can't escape the position.
Gilden is still in real trouble! Can McDanver finish him?
Gilden seems to have recovered his senses.
McDanver lands a big shot to the head and Gilden winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
