The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails in his attempt to clinch.
That kick from Williams tenderised Almanez's leg. Almanez is trying to keep his angry face on.
Williams throws a low kick, looking for Almanez's leg but Almanez calmly moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Almanez.
Almanez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Williams can pounce on him.
Williams will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
