Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sidney Smash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sidney Smash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooh!!! Hunt has knocked Smash down with a huge combo! Hunt steps away and waves a wobbly Smash back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Sidney Smash has been cut.

Hunt shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.


Smash is rocked!
Smash wants to control but Hunt is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Smash holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Hunt is thwarting Smash's attempts to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sidney Smash just wasn't active enough.
Smash shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Hunt counters with a shoot takedown. Smash fights it but they end up in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Smash is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mike Hunt hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Hunt shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hunt showed some decent athleticism there.
Smash wants to get back to full guard.
Smash is staying active underneath Hunt, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
