Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Rison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew G (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rison comes to the cage accompanied by I see the bad moon rising. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikey Rison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew G!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rison throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
G looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Rison lands with a nice body punch.
Rison scores with a shot to the body.

Rison feints and as G raises his hands in defense, Rison changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rison pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. G is keeping the position for now.
G doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Rison wants to stand but G is controlling his posture from full guard.

G thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Rison would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
G will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
G takes a head kick and keeps coming.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rison takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

G turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Rison regains half guard, as G was trying to land strikes.
G with the ground and pound but Rison uses the opportunity to regain guard.
G postures up in Rison's guard and throws a big left but Rison blocks it.

G stands up from Rison's guard - G perhaps looking for a knockout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
G takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
G keeps the fight on the outside.

G fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rison sprawls well initially but G persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
G frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rison tries to lock up and control but G gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rison wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
G throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Rison wants to control but G is having none of it.
You get the feeling that Rison really doesn't like being in this position too much.
G unloads with some shots from mount but Rison bucks and avoids them well.
Rison squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

G has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
G avoids the attempt from Rison to control.
Poor strikes thrown by G there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rison wants to control but G is having none of it.
G misses with a head shot.
G throwing strikes here but Rison is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Rison tries to reverse the position but G maintains control.
Rison is working hard here to advance position.
Rison is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
G thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
G thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Rison wants to hold on but G pushes him away.
G postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rison looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mikey Rison dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Rison fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with G, pushing him back against the cage.

G avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
G wants to control from the top but Rison keeps moving.
G stands and throws Rison's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rison struggling a bit here.
G prevents Rison from escaping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
G is breathing heavily.
Rison wants to control but G is keeping him busy.

Rison controls the position.

Rison decides to take the fight back to the feet.
G shoots in for a takedown but Rison shows good takedown defense.
A head kick misses from Rison.
Rison is looking to clinch but G is avoiding it.
Rison lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Rison.
G bucks up and tries to throw Rison off but instead Rison has got his back!
G tries to roll but Rison sticks to his back.
G prevents Rison from getting a body triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
G tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Rison working for a submission but G is keeping him at bay.
Rison controlling the pace for now.

Rison gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Mikey Rison is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rison throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
G takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Rison tries a head kick but it misses.
G shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rison pinned against the cage. Rison gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Rison moves into range and clinches up with G.

Rison lands a nice knee to the body.

Rison manages to break the clinch.
Rison throws a head kick that misses.

Rison shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rison was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
G is looking to get to half guard.
Rison controlling from mount.
G throwing hammer fists to the chest of Rison. What's that going to do exactly?
G is looking to improve his position but Rison isn't that keen on the idea.

Rison is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Some wild striking there from G.
Rison pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rison lands a head kick!

Rison throws a head kick that misses.
G is still on wobbly legs! Can Rison finish him?
Rison goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rison circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! G drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Rison follows G to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikey Rison!
