Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Blatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vic Sommers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blatt might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to you're going down- sick puppies. Jeff Blatt could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vic Sommers's chin.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blatt shoots and misses
and Sommers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Blatt slips under a jab from Sommers.
Blatt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sommers.
Sommers goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Jeff Blatt has been cut.
Sommers looks to score with a jab to the body but Blatt is just out of range.
Sommers lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sommers has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sommers is looking to chop away at Blatt's legs.
Blatt tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sommers counters with an outside leg kick.
Blatt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sommers counters with a two punch combo.
Sommers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blatt as he avoids it easily.
Sommers misses with a low kick.
Jeff Blatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blatt gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sommers moves into the clinch.
Sommers is looking to control Blatt's arms but Blatt gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sommers has his back to the cage.
Nice body punch from Blatt.
A left hand lands to the body for Sommers.
Sommers dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Sommers receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sommers has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Blatt regains guard immediately.
Blatt looking to control.
Sommers trying to control but Blatt is working from the bottom.
Sommers trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Sommers is standing up over Blatt. Blatt looks to escape but Sommers dives into side control.
Blatt is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sommers is controlling him well.
Sommers cracks Blatt with a big right hand but Blatt just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Sommers in side control lands a decent elbow.
Sommers scores with punches from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sommers looks up at the clock and then as Blatt takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sommers smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Blatt is rocked!
A big shot lands for Sommers! That's hurt Blatt! Will he recover? Sommers fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
