Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Lekova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasechkin Nikolai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasechkin Nikolai will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikolai lands a jab-cross combination.
Nikolai looks to land a combination but Lekova avoids it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lekova is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nikolai can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Lekova is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nikolai defends well.

Lekova has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nikolai can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nikolai slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Lekova is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nikolai is aware though and is defending well.
Lekova might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Nikolai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lekova. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nikolai.

Lekova seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nikolai does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Vasechkin Nikolai's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
