The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ostojic throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Laaksonen lands a nice shot to the body.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Laaksonen.
Laaksonen connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Ostojic some visible discomfort.
Ostojic takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Ostojic avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Laaksonen.
Ostojic is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Laaksonen asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Ostojic tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Ostojic is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Laaksonen throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ostojic because Laaksonen loaded up on that one.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Laaksonen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ostojic looks a forlorn figure.

Laaksonen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
