Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Kerensky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Blitz Finish!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finish throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kerensky smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Finish is looking to take a break and control but Kerensky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Finish is trying to move to mount but Kerensky reverses beautifully and ends up in Finish's guard.
Kerensky seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Finish is looking to sweep but instead, Kerensky has passed into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kerensky connects with a body shot that sends Finish's belly button to the back.

Finish shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kerensky as he avoids it easily.

Finish looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That's time! Kerensky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Blitz Finish has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Finish working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kerensky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kerensky manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
