Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Duncan Harty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Heidegger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heidegger has chosen Heartbeats as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harty throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Heidegger connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Harty drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Heidegger thumps Harty with a low kick.
Harty takes one to the side of the head.

Heidegger closes the distance and clinches.
Knees to the body from Heidegger.
Heidegger lands a nice knee to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Heidegger works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Heidegger connects with a couple of short punches.
Heidegger wants to control from the top but Harty keeps moving.
Heidegger is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Harty keeping moving, preventing Heidegger from controlling successfully.
Heidegger content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Harty is breathing heavily.
Heidegger works over Harty with some ground and pound from guard.
Harty wants to stand but Heidegger is controlling the position.
Heidegger postures up and lands a big shot to Harty's brow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Heidegger is working Harty over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Harty really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Heidegger loads up on a big left hand. Harty felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Heidegger looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Harty can't hide his disappointment, as Heidegger celebrates the victory.
