The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hard is looking to clinch but Buzynski is avoiding it.
Jamarcus Hard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Buzynski. No joy for Hard on that attempt.
Hard looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Buzynski blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hard.
Buzynski tries to roll over but Hard keeps him under control.

Hard seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Buzynski is looking to get back to is feet but Hard passes into side control.
Hard working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Hard has hold of Buzynski's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Buzynski tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hard cranks the arm and Buzynski screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Buzynski, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
