The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes tries to clinch up but Boyd circles away and keeps his distance.
Hughes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hughes closes the distance and clinches up with Boyd, looking for a takedown. Hughes pushes Boyd against the cage but Boyd circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hughes drives through with a takedown into guard.
