The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torrez moves out of range as Franklin strikes.
Franklin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Franklin slaps away a takedown attempt from Torrez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Torrez tries to move into range but Franklin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Jake Franklin has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

and Franklin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Franklin lands a slapping body shot.
Franklin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Torrez has time to react.
Franklin lunges at Torrez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Torrez's hand.
Torrez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Franklin can pounce on him.
