Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Zloy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cain Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Zloy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zloy but Zloy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Smith slips a jab from Zloy.
Smith tries for a takedown but Zloy circles away easily
and Zloy counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Zloy counter with a right hand.
Horrible takedown by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by Zloy which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cain Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zloy shoots and misses
and Smith counters with a right hand to the body.

Zloy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Smith could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Zloy working hard to break the clinch.
Zloy is pressed up against the cage. Smith has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zloy down to the mat. Zloy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Smith drives through and clinches with Zloy against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zloy jumps into guard, dragging Smith to the mat.
Smith trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Smith wants to control from the top but Zloy keeps moving.

Smith stands and steps away. Zloy gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Cain Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zloy gets a clinch.

Smith lands a right hand that snaps the head of Zloy backwards.
Zloy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Smith fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Zloy clinches up against the cage.
Zloy keeps control of Smith as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Smith has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Zloy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Zloy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Smith dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Smith has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Zloy clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Zloy covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Smith wants to control but Zloy is keeping busy.
Smith lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Smith.
Smith is landing with strikes. Zloy can't take much more of this.

Smith lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Smith working for a choke but Zloy is defending well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zloy is trying to break free.
Smith trying to control.
Despite being in a bad position, Zloy is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts.
Smith lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Zloy.
Zloy looks gassed!

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Zloy trying to control the position but Smith manages to sink in the hooks.
Smith scores with punches to the body.
Smith trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Zloy doesn't escape.
Smith lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Zloy.
Smith scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Zloy is looking for a way out.
Smith scores with strikes from the back.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Smith controlling the positon.
Smith lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Smith.
Smith biding his time, controlling Zloy.

Smith is working for a rear naked choke. Zloy is not defending it well and Smith has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Zloy refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Zloy's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
