Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Boris Kharitonov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruce Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts throws a sloppy head kick
and Kharitonov counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Roberts is lucky that one didn't land flush.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Roberts is defended easily by Kharitonov.
Kharitonov jabs Roberts to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kharitonov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Roberts eats them both and turns towards Kharitonov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Bruce Roberts has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Roberts fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Kharitonov clinches with his opponent.
Kharitonov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Roberts backwards.
Kharitonov misses with the head strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kharitonov.
Kharitonov digs a right hand into Roberts's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Roberts's gas tank.
Kharitonov lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Roberts is rocked!
Roberts tries to pull guard but Kharitonov holds him up against the cage and eventually Roberts drops back down to his feet.
Boris Kharitonov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Roberts.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kharitonov stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Roberts looks gassed!
A head punch on the inside from Kharitonov fails to land.
Kharitonov misses with a hook from the clinch.
Roberts landing knees to the head.
A shot in the inside from Kharitonov.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Roberts jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kharitonov walks away with a smile on his face. Roberts gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kharitonov scores with a shot to the body.
Kharitonov throws a sloppy head kick and Roberts moves out of range easily.
Kharitonov cracks Roberts with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Roberts tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kharitonov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Roberts is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boris Kharitonov!
