The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magamedov closes the distance and clinches up with Torreto, looking for a takedown. Magamedov pushes Torreto against the cage but Torreto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Torreto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Torreto tries to stand and escape but Magamedov is controlling the position.
Magamedov is looking for a sweep. Torreto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Torreto seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Magamedov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Magamedov flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Torreto should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Torreto throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Magamedov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Torreto is in Magamedov's guard.

Torreto is pushing down on Magamedov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Magamedov is fighting to maintain full guard but Torreto has managed to sneak the leg through.
Torreto uses his free foot to push down on Magamedov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Magamedov.
