Michaels is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eminem - So Bad. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Michaels stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Michaels wants it to stay on the feet.
Howards lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Ross Michaels has been cut.
A jab lands there for Howards.
Howards cracks Michaels with a right hand to the side of the head.
Howards scores with a hook to the body. Michaels takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Howards moves into range and connects with a jab.
Michaels fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Howards avoids it really well and circles away.
Howards shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Michaels as he jumps to the side.
Billy Howards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Howards throws a left that rocks Michaels and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Howards dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Michaels regain composure!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Howards cracks Michaels with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Howards immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Michaels is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Howards!
