Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Lidae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyreek Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lidae comes to the ring accompanied by Crack A Bottle. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Evans lands in his opponent's guard.
Lidae wants to stand but Evans is controlling the position.
Evans wants to get up but he can't break Lidae's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Lidae has his foot on Evans's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Evans works his way back into a safe position though.
