Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hatsu Ishikawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Davis Obrien!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishikawa takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Obrien slaps away a takedown attempt from Ishikawa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ishikawa loads up on a big right hand but Obrien slips the punch.
Obrien closes the distance but Ishikawa moves to the side
and Ishikawa makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Obrien really felt that one!
Ishikawa thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Obrien if he has to take too many more of those.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ishikawa.
Obrien displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ishikawa.

Ishikawa moves into range and connects with a jab.

Obrien darts in trying to clinch
and Ishikawa counters with a solid body kick.

Ishikawa scores with a head kick. Obrien tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

and Ishikawa counters with a single leg into guard. Obrien didn't expect that.

Ishikawa drops back looking for a leg! Obrien is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Obrien manages to kick Ishikawa off! Ishikawa jumps back into Obrien's guard.
Ishikawa postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Ishikawa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Obrien works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ishikawa lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ishikawa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ishikawa is working Obrien over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Ishikawa drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ishikawa as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Obrien screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ishikawa! Nice submission victory there!
