Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Cheese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keast Kannegaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheese dodges the punch combination from Kannegaard.
Kannegaard throws an off balance right hand
and Cheese counters with a two punch combo.
Cheese loads up on a big right hand but Kannegaard slips the punch.
Kannegaard rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cheese counters with a one-two to the body.
Kannegaard falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kannegaard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cheese lands a nice hook to Kannegaard's body. Kannegaard takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cheese scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kannegaard doesn't seem bothered though.

and Cheese counters with a crisp one two that drops Kannegaard! Cheese thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kannegaard to his feet! Kannegaard is in big trouble!

and Cheese scores with a counter punch that sends Kannegaard to the canvas! Cheese smells blood - he's punishing Kannegaard with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kannegaard has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
