Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miika Liukkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cono Slash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slash throws an off balance right hand

and Liukkonen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Slash looking for submissions off his back.
Liukkonen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Slash is trying to control but can't.
Liukkonen looks to land a strike but Slash avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Slash is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Slash looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Slash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Liukkonen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Liukkonen trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Slash manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Slash thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Slash wants to pass the guard but Liukkonen is keeping the position.

Slash is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Liukkonen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slash tries to roll over but Liukkonen keeps him under control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Liukkonen is trying to work for a kimura but Slash is defending well.
Slash makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slash.

Slash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Liukkonen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Slash avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Liukkonen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Slash to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Liukkonen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Slash pulls down on the head and he's put Liukkonen to sleep! This one is all over!
