PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tronic Thermo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berdo Haaasik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thermo comes to the cage accompanied by Party Hard by Andrew W.K.. On his way into the cage it seems that Tronic Thermo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tronic Thermo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haaasik shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Thermo to counter with a crisp jab.
Haaasik misses with a takedown attempt

so Thermo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Thermo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Haaasik is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Thermo, into his guard.
Thermo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Haaasikis looking to pass into half guard but Thermo pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Thermo is in guard.
Thermo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Haaasik swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Haaasik throws his legs up looking for a submission but Thermo uses it to pass to side control.

Thermo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Haaasik sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Thermo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Haaasik has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Thermo escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Thermo!
Haaasik tries to buck Thermo off but Thermo is having none of it.
Check out the look on Thermo's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The strikes coming from Thermo are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Thermo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Thermo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Thermo stands up.
Haaasik looks gassed!
Thermo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Haaasik tries to avoid it but Thermo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Haaasik to the ground. Haaasik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Thermo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Haaasik's guard now.
Tronic Thermo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Berdo Haaasik.

Haaasik has his feet on Thermo's thighs here. He's pushed Thermo off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Thermo screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
