The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Father blocks a head kick by Manciny.
Father shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Father in particular looking to stall.
Father stops Manciny from getting back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Stephoune Father has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Father has control of Manciny's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Manciny regains control of the situation pretty easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Manciny is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
