The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trump takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Paul Trump has been cut.
Trump shoots and misses
and Silva finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Silva knocks Trump to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Trump is looking to regain half guard here but Silva keeps moving and retains side control.

Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Trump knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Silva tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Silva postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Trump is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Silva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Trump, who protects the arm well.

Silva tries to move to mount but Trump blocks the move with his legs.
The strikes coming from Silva are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Trump prevents Silva from moving into mount.
Silva works to advance to full mount. Trump defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Silva wants to finish this one by submission but Trump is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Silva.

Silva moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Trump has worked his arm free - good work by Trump!

Trump stops Silva from passing to mount.
Silva is chipping away with strikes.
Silva working the body and head with strikes.
Trump tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silva wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Silva looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Trump gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

A nice inside leg kick there by Silva. That's going to slow Trump down.
Silva connects with a high kick.
Silva thumps Trump with a low kick.
Silva lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A slapping body kick lands there for Silva.
Trump on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Silva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A chopping leg kick lands by Silva.

Trump is breathing heavily.
Trump stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Silva.
Trump on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.
Silva turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Silva lands with a thumping leg kick.
Silva throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Silva cracks the inside of Trump's front leg.
Silva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Silva lands a head kick that stumbles Trump and the fighters go to the mat.
Trump is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him?
Silva passes into half guard.
Trump seems to have recovered his senses.
Silva uses his free foot to push down on Trump's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Trump.
Trump has given up his back.

Silva has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Trump is defending well but eventually Silva manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Trump has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
