The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Luautinen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Luautinen wants to stand but Amon has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Luautinen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Amon avoids it really well and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
