Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yorito Nayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osuka Kasumia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yorito Nayama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Osuka Kasumia!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nayama rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kasumia moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nayama closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kasumia did well to prevent Nayama getting side control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kasumia manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Kasumia is trying to control the position but Nayama postures up.
Nayama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kasumia swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kasumia keeping moving, preventing Nayama from controlling successfully.
Kasumia is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Yorito Nayama.
Kasumia doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Kasumia lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Nayama gets the takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Kasumia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Nayama advances nicely into full mount.
Kasumia tries to lock up and control but Nayama gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kasumia defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nayama.
Kasumia is controlling an arm, preventing Nayama from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nayama looking to control but Kasumia is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kasumia bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Nayama wants to sweep here but Kasumia controlling him for the moment.

Nayama is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kasumia defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Nayama seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kasumia for as long as he can get away with.

Kasumia reaches up to try and control the position but Nayama seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Kasumia rolls and tries to escape and now Nayama has his back!

Nayama is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kasumia knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kasumia for a finish.

Nayama just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Kasumia scores with a head kick. Nayama tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Nayama slips a jab and a cross from Kasumia.
Kasumia lands with a kick to the temple. Nayama shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Kasumia thows a body kick. Nayama tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Nayama throws a right and a left that Kasumia avoids nicely.
Kasumia throws a head kick but Nayama moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nayama smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kasumia pushes Nayama away with a front kick.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee asks Nayama politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nayama prefers to stall for the moment though.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kasumia is trying to work for a sweep but Nayama has mounted him!

Osuka Kasumia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nayama ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kasumia moves away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Nayama decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kasumia's guard.

Nayama drops back looking for a leg! Kasumia is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kasumia manages to kick Nayama off! Nayama jumps back into Kasumia's guard.

Nayama takes a little break here. Kasumia wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

We're going to have a standup here because Yorito Nayama wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kasumia throws a head kick but Nayama moves out of range.

And that's the end of the fight!
Yorito Nayama showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nayama, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
