Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Vincible (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kari Taalasmaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vincible has a takedown stuffed.

and Vincible counters with a good low kick that Taalasmaa was not able to check.
Taalasmaa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vincible pinned against the cage. Vincible gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Justin Vincible has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kari Taalasmaa.
Vincible looks to score with a jab to the body but Taalasmaa is just out of range.

Vincible has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Taalasmaa is working away from the top position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taalasmaa throws and elbow that misses. Vincible uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Taalasmaa's guard. Nice move by Vincible!
Taalasmaa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Taalasmaa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vincible tries to avoid it but Taalasmaa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vincible to the ground. Vincible escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vincible dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Taalasmaa. That did some damage!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Taalasmaa manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Taalasmaa has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Vincible's face.
Taalasmaa postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Vincible looks a forlorn figure.

Taalasmaa loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Vincible scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Taalasmaa land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Taalasmaa stands and salutes the crowd.
