Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chad Bugasto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leif Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leif Anderson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leif Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bugasto takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Anderson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bugasto tries to clinch but Anderson moves away
letting Anderson counter with a right hand.
Bugasto wants to clinch
and Anderson counters with a good, hard body kick but Bugasto shrugs it off.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Anderson drops back looking for a leg! Bugasto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bugasto manages to kick Anderson off! Anderson jumps back into Bugasto's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bugasto swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Leif Anderson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bugasto moves to clinch but Anderson breaks away
and Anderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

letting Anderson counter with a right hand.

and Anderson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Anderson throws out a leg kick but Bugasto moves out of range and Anderson only half commits.

and Anderson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bugasto!

Anderson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Anderson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bugasto can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Anderson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Anderson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bugasto is looking to escape.

Leif Anderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Leif Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
