Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mkat Twilight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mkat Twilight was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twilight moves to clinch but Davis breaks away
and Davis counters with a left to the body.

Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Twilight swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Twilight bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davis's guard.

and Davis counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Davis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Davis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

No joy there for Davis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Twilight takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Twilight takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Davis presses Twilight against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Twilight prevents the takedown attempt.
Davis lands with a light punch inside.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Davis is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Twilight can't fight it off and eventually Davis manages to take the fight to the floor. Twilight looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well Davis has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
