Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mayang Dondon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Florian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Florian has chosen Avenged Sevenfold - Walk as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dondon rushes Florian and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Florian ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Florian no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Florian is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dondon is aware though and is defending well.

Florian had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dondon defends it easily.

Florian has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dondon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dondon decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and Dondon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Florian has momentary wrist control but Dondon slips an elbow through the middle.

Florian escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dondon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dondon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Florian to the mat! Florian manages to get full guard.
Florian can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dondon controls the pace.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Dondon moves into the clinch.
Dondon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Florian is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Florian tries to pull guard but Dondon holds him up against the cage and eventually Florian drops back down to his feet.

Mayang Dondon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Florian.

Dondon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Florian manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dondon on his heels. He'll look to pass Dondon's guard now, I'm sure.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Florian has control of Dondon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dondon regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Florian has hold of Dondon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dondon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dondon tries to lock up and control but Florian gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kenny Florian showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Dondon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Florian has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dondon has managed to get both his arms back between Florian's legs - danger averted.

Dondon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Florian for as long as he can get away with.
