Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Bosch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Proctor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Bosch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Proctor!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Proctor looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Bosch wants to sweep here but Proctor controlling him for the moment.
Proctor trying to control but Bosch is working from the bottom.
Bosch looking for a sweep. Not yet Bosch, not yet.
Proctor looking to pass the guard.

Bosch pushes Proctor off and gets back to his feet.
Proctor scores with a hook to the body. Bosch takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Proctor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Proctor closes the distance but Bosch moves to the side
and Bosch counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bosch is looking to slow Proctor down with leg kicks.
Sloppy strikes from Bosch. Those never looked like landing.
Proctor misses with a hook to the body
enabling Bosch to counter with a crisp jab.
Bosch misses with a two punch combination.
Proctor closes the distance but Bosch moves to the side
and Bosch counters with a nice body kick.

letting Bosch counter with a right hand.
Bosch lands a head kick!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Proctor throws a sloppy head kick
and Bosch counters with a good low kick that Proctor was not able to check.

Bosch closes the distance and clinches.
Proctor is trying to force a seperation but Bosch has the dominant position.
Bosch prevents the takedown attempt.
Proctor manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Proctor throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Bosch has Proctor pushed against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Bosch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Proctor throws a head kick that misses
and Bosch counters with an inside leg kick.
Proctor on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bosch. Bosch obviously looking to wear him down.
Proctor looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Proctor feints and as Bosch raises his hands in defense, Proctor changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Proctor preventing the sweep.
Proctor postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Proctor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bosch swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bosch is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bosch has his hands on Proctor's head, controlling the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Mark Bosch wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Proctor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bosch counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Proctor is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Proctor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bosch swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Proctor fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bosch tries to close the distance and clinch but Proctor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Proctor closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bosch counters with a nice uppercut.
Proctor moves to clinch but Bosch breaks away
and Bosch counters with a straight right hand.
Proctor thows a leg kick but Bosch checks it
and Bosch counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Bosch shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Proctor as he avoids it easily.

Bosch lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

and Proctor counters with a single leg into guard. Bosch didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bosch pushes Proctor off and gets back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bosch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Proctor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Proctor throws a predictable looking body shot

and Bosch moves into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bosch creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Proctor has Bosch pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bosch manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Proctor preventing the sweep.
Proctor looking to sit in guard and control but Bosch gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bosch won't allow Proctor to get back to his feet.
Proctor thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Bosch scoring with some ground and pound.
Proctor striking off his back but it's not causing Bosch any problems.
Bosch wanted to stand there but Proctor had control of the position.
Bosch looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Proctor has his foot on Bosch's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bosch works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Proctor is trying to hold Bosch in close to prevent damage but Bosch has managed to pass into half guard.
Proctor is looking to control Bosch's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Proctor avoid being mounted?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Proctor takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Proctor tries for a takedown but Bosch sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Proctor.
Bosch slaps away a takedown attempt from Proctor, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mark Bosch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Proctor.
Bosch scores with a one two! Proctor had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


It looks like James Proctor has been cut.
Proctor throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Bosch counters with a solid body kick.
Bosch throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Proctor takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Nice takedown defense from Proctor. No joy for Bosch on that attempt.
Bosch fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Proctor takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Proctor misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bosch scoring well with a low kick there.
Proctor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mark Bosch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bosch, as that shot connected.

Proctor takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Mark Bosch is winning the standup battle so far.
Bosch throws a nice head kick!
Bosch is looking to clinch.
Proctor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bosch throws a series of strikes that have Proctor backpedaling.
Bosch lands a two punch combo.
Bosch shoots in for a double leg but Proctor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bosch throws a sloppy head kick and Proctor moves out of range easily.

Proctor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Proctor stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Proctor circles away from the clinch attempt

and Proctor counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bosch's guard now.
Proctor wants to get up but he can't break Bosch's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Bosch lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Proctor!
James Proctor has got the better of the ground game so far.
Proctor keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Bosch can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Proctor is looking to escape.
Proctor tries to lock up and control but Bosch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mark Bosch showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bosch, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
