Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Balthazar Curacao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and EJ Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior connects with a nice looking jab.
Curacao shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Junior's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Junior duly obliges.
A punch lands to the side of Curacao 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Junior tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Curacao goes for a takedown attempt but Junior pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Curacao misses with a takedown attempt - Junior sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Junior is looking to clinch but Curacao is avoiding it.
Junior lands a nice hook to Curacao's body. Curacao takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Junior connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Curacao's hands.

Junior lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Junior throws a combination. Curacao tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Junior escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Curacao gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Junior working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Curacao doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Curacao manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Junior is pressing down on Curacao's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Junior is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Junior is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Curacao frees his head nicely. Oh but Junior has switched to an armbar! Curacao is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
