Liddell throws an overhand right that lands on Money's shoulder, as Money tries to avoid the shot.
Liddell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Money circles away quickly and effectively.
Liddell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Trey Money seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Liddell misses.
Money fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Liddell avoids it really well and circles away.
Liddell takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Money lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Liddell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Money manages to avoid it.

Liddell is pushing Money up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Money ducks right into an uppercut from Liddell.


That has opened up Trey Money's cut even more.
Liddell lands an overhand right.
Liddell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Money on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Mark Liddell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Money shoots and misses
and Liddell counters with a straight right hand.


The cut above Trey Money's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Liddell scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Liddell throws a head kick that misses.

Liddell moves into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Money jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Liddell walks away with a smile on his face. Money gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Money gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Liddell to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Liddell. That snapped Money's head back.


Trey Money's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Liddell clinches with his opponent.
Liddell lands a body shot in the clinch.
Liddell lands with a left to the head.

Liddell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Liddell lands with a good body shot.
Liddell connects with a jab.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Trey Money's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
